What do you do at work? 

A little bit of everything! I have a title of CEO (Creative, Entertaining, Odd). I spend my days flipping between projects, tasks and people. I'm a writer, a graphics designer, a website designer, a project creator and monitor, a work creator, an inventory taker, and a custodian. Sometimes all in the same day! My brain is chaotically organized...sort of like my desk. 

What do you love about National Day Calendar? 

Everything! Imagine going to a job where the only goal you have for the day is to Celebrate Every Day! That's what National Day Calendar is. We work hard to remind people no matter where they are in life, there is always have something to celebrate. Celebrating food holidays is a BONUS! 

What is your favorite National Day?

I have a hard time picking just one day as my favorite. I celebrate as many days as I can throughout year. I love some days more than others--like National Book Lovers Day on August 9. I LOVE to read and always have a list of at least 10 books to read next! I love the inspirational days because showing gratitude for every moment in my life is a must! I'm also very indecisive and change my mind about favorite things, like food. I guess that's why I celebrate ALL the food days. I don't have time to pick a favorite. I celebrate one today and move on to the next! 

What do you do outside of work? 

Travel. Try new foods. Go on adventures with my grandkids. Read. Cook. Write. Explore. Watch documentaries. Play word games on my phone. Send jokes to my sisters through social media. Scrap Journal. Drink wine. Go on nature walks. Gardening. Sheesh! Finding things to do outside of work is never hard. Finding time to do those things is. 

Do you have any advice to give? 

I don't like to give advice because does anyone really care what I think? Instead, I'll share my advice to myself:  

1. Learn something new every day. 

2. Show gratitude. 

3. Practice self-care.

4. Be kind. 

5. Keep your mind and body healthy.
